Ivan Pavlovich Bardin (1883-1960) was an academician and metallurgist. He worked with Georgii Nikoladze and Iraklii Lordkipanidze in Iuzovka (Donbass), Ukraine. He was also a friend of RNN. When the newspaper "Sovetskii Sport," published a defamatory article about Georgii Nikoladze after his death, Rusudana asked Bardin to write a response. After Bardin's death Rusudana corresponded with his wife.
